Chimera WIP

I'm teamed up with the lovely Henrike Dreier for this project.

The aim is to create a teaser for the ebook version of 'Greek Myths' by Robert graves.

Two mythical beasts are represented in our short animation; the Harpy and Cottus.

Whereas the Harpy is represented as a flying hybrid true to her original description, we have made a decision to have the environment composed out of Cottus's many arms.

My soldier memories

The brief asked that we identify something in our culture which is unique. I based this work on my 3 year service in the Israeli army. Even though I am not the only one in our course who served in their countries' armed forces, I found myself almost unique in that I consider it to have been a necessary experience.

I used shoe polish instead of ink and sewed the characters onto the paper with olive green thread.
